Chianti Classico Collection 2009

Over three hundred Black Rooster labels will be showing their stuff in the lovely setting of the Leopolda Station, where this year the world wine press, along with the trade, will be appraising the latest Chianti Classico vintages at an event that has become one of the top on the international wine calendar.

Starting from the uniqueness of every label, the "Chianti Classico Collection" presents its products to an international audience under the same trademark as always: the Black Rooster. As in other spheres, where the creations of various seasons depend on the creativity of their makers, in the Classico world it is the nature along with the skilful work of its producers that determines the collection's success.

A collection that comes on strong in a year that's seen the Black Rooster leading in the vineyards and guides. This two-day Florentine event will therefore be a time to learn how the prized 2008 grapes are behaving in the cellars and to personally judge the successes of the Chianti Classico wineries rating high in the major Italian wine guides.
