Wednesday, February 18 there will be a tasting of the latest Gallo Nero vintages at the q.b. quantobasta in Florence (Via de’ Ginori 10/r). From 6 to 10 p.m. it will be possible to sample 39 different Chianti Classico wines...

The Black Rooster wants to meet with its city. On February 17 and 18 at the Stazione Leopolda it will preside over the Chianti Classico Collection, the customary Chianti Classico encounter with the press and trade, while the evening of the 18^th it will leave the historic railway station for “La Notte del Gallo Nero”, the “Gallo Nero Night” organized at the restaurant q.b. quantobasta in Florence, in collaboration with the Chianti Classico Wine Consortium.At the evening-long get-together (6 to 10 p.m.) for the price of 15 euro the public can taste 39 labels from as many Chianti Classico wineries along with palate pleasers offered by q.b. quantobasta, the innovative venue devoted to taste and the pleasure of convivial cooking in Via de’ Ginori 10/r, Florence.

“Gallo Nero Night” will be the first of a series of dates for final consumers designed to spread and deepen knowledge of the “Classico” and its territory.They will start on the second day of the Chianti Classico Collection precisely to get the city involved in one of the wine denomination’s key moments.

The consortium’s enologist, Daniele Rosellini, will introduce guests to the tasting through a brief “tale” of Chianti Classico, its characteristics and territory. After which it will be up to them to perceive the various nuances of the different wines being tasted, all united by the unmistakable character of the symbol they’ve always shared.
